Sword of Night and Flame was another build some considered as broken. It was located in Caria Manor, the weapon's Night-and Flame Stance feature allowed Elden Ring Runes players to follow an attack by using a Comet Azur sorcery to cause many fire-related damage at a distance. It could cause massive destruction to unsuspecting PvP gamers, however it was also easily countered by those who were aware of the way they were acting. In PvE, meanwhile it was another OP feature that players were enjoying. The latest patch still nerfed it, however. The Moonveil Katana was not mentioned as part of the patches notes in any way, but it was also reported to have been spoofed to increase the animation of combat.
It is here that things become complicated when you make sweeping changes to an experience that many players treat mostly as an offline, single-player experience. "Literally just got the Sword of Night and Flame the other night in Elden Ring, since I was unable to find a weapon I liked," one player posted on Twitter. "Poured all my resources into it* because I was told it was good. Then I was advised to update my game. Turns out the update caused it to be nerfed to the point of being useless."
While some of patch 1.03 introduced new content or fixed broken quests, a lot of it re-balanced the game the way you would expect someone to take a live service title. Whatever the tweaks themselves are worth it or not, it's definitely something Elden Ring Items for sale players will need to face, assuming that FromSoftware will make more changes to its minds in the near future. Some players are dealing with the only way they know how by searching desperately in search of the next OP versions to exploit.
